plurad: an infinitesimal plurum

plurum: a system of composites

system: a composite whose elements have a relationship with one another (other than mutual membership in the composite)

composite: a collection of elements

All infinitesimal objects are plurads.

For there is no largest transfinite, and hence no smallest infinitesimal. So all infinitesimals are divisible, and may be viewed as composed of parts.

These parts are themselves infinitesimal, so that every plurad is itself an infinite hierarchy of plurads.

There is no smallest plurad. The infinitesimal is not 'simple' in Leibniz' sense, it always has structure.

Insofar as a substance is composed of plurads, it consequently has no smallest elements. This is the contrary of Leucippus' and Democritus' concept of indivisible 'atoms' composing a substance, or any physical theory which posits the existence of indivisible, smallest elements.
