How many years experience in the Internet industry do 5points.net employees have?
A lot. Some of us have experience with the Internet from its earliest days, two decades ago, before it was even called "the Internet" and when it served primarily to link government and academic research institutions. Even our youngest geeks are distinguished by their long-time involvement with networked computing.

Why do you have the name "5points"?
Our headquarters are located in an historic inn in East Chatham, New York, on the old Albany to Stockbridge turnpike which was a stagecoach road in the early 19th century. Our company's name derives from the historical name for the hamlet of East Chatham, Five Points, which is located at the intersection of five roads.

Devotees of obscure information may delight in the fact that it was also the name of a most notorious slum in early 19th century America, located in what is now lower Manhattan.
